Easter Sunday Events in Monument, Colorado

Looking for something to do this Easter Sunday in Monument Colorado? Creekside Middle School hosted Monument’s annual Easter Egg Hunt for the past several years, but now that the building is closed, local families will have to travel the short southern route to nearby Colorado Springs.

On Easter morning, win a ham by running a 5k during the annual Hams and Hamstrings Easter race. Walkers and runners alike are welcome, and there will be plenty of bunny ears and chocolate fondue this year too.

For a more upscale Easter, treat your whole family to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort’s annual Easter Brunch. Sugar-baked ham, Belgium waffles, and omelets will be prepared on the spot, while entrees include a variety of seafood dishes, soups, salads, and breakfast pastries.

Bear Creek Nature Center will host a Peter Rabbit-themed Easter adventure on Thursday, April 17. Kids can meet a live rabbit, enjoy a leisurely Chocolate Bunny egg hunt, and later exchange their eggs for treasures at the visitor center.
