Health Reform Confusing? We’ll Explain It.

There is much talk about the health care reform, and it is hard to know what to believe or expect. Fortunately for you, we at Warrior Insurance can ease your mind about it a bit by being here to explain it. We can also help you avoid being fined by providing for your health insurance needs.

Health care is going through a dynamic reforming phase in 2013 as a means to become more quality-focused and cost-conscious. According to the Obamacare Law, quality care is linked to Medicare payments, leaving quite many health insurers with penalties for overcharged executive bonuses and administrative fees.

There is a pay rise increase to all primary doctors who used to receive less for treating American citizens that have a low-income. Moreover, chronic diseases that form the 75% of national health care are now managed with preventive services, screenings, and vaccinations at no or low cost. Furthermore, the upcoming national pilot program will include a flat rate for every medical episode, such as a surgery, instead of paying different numerous bills.

As part of this health care reformation, children of low-income (aprox. 8 million) families will be provided with affordable health coverage as applied by the CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program).

Finally, everyone without an insurance policy is obliged to pay a tax penalty (with some minor exemptions that relate to religious objections and financial hardships), which is estimated to reach $1,200 by 2016.
